the Southcoasts new surfstore STORMRIDERS.
Located on Shoreham Beach just down from the Kitesurfing centre
in Ferry Road. Not only does STORMRIDERS surfstore have all
of the latest boardriders equipment and latest surf fashion
with unbeatable deals but there is also a full coffee and snack
bar at the rear of the shop with the chance to chill out and
watch the latest surfing DVD's at the same time or footage of
yourself kitesurfing!

the weather doesn't permit us to go ahead we will simply re-book
you for the next available slot. Until then we suggest you get
a training kite and practice your land based flying.

Getting Started Guide
SCHOOL INFO SUMMER 2008
Hi, we are currently running all types of Power kiting and kitesurfing lessons.
To be in put in a group of 3 + its £35 per hour,
( we can slot you into a group ) £45 per hour if your
in a group of 2, or 1 on 1 tuition is £55
per hour. We supply all of the equipment and we will get you
in full control of a power kite within a 2 hour session.
Stage 1 is a 3 hour session. You will quickly learn how to set up and fly a power kite, understand the power zone, learn the safe techniques for launching and landing and learn to use the kite with a harness. For those that are looking to purchase a water based kite and crack on in the water this summer, then we can offer you a 3rd hour where we will teach you rigging up and launching and flying an inflatable leading edge kite.
Then we offer a free set up lesson when you purchase the kite so that you go away from us knowing all about your kites quick release safety systems and tuning and rigging systems.
You can book up water based lessons once you have completed the land stage 1. We offer 2 x 3 hour sessions on the water and that should hopefully get you up and riding and these are charged at the same rates. We can supply all of the equipment unless you have your own that you'd like to use. We also sell vouchers for lessons which we can post to you for the next day and that are valid in the school for lessons or in the shop for equipment. These are non refundable but valid for a year.
